There were two of us who were visiting NH for the first time. He made us very comfortable over the course of the hour long tour, all the while filling us in on secret local gems.

Neil did a good job of showcasing the art and history of this little town. We thought we had seen downtown until we walked it with Neil - and suddenly we realized how much we had actually missed when we had perused on our own.

We saw maybe a dozen primary murals, in addition to a few “bonuses” along the way. Neil included a brochure with specific information about each piece, in the event that we wanted to remember the address/artist/etc of any of the pieces.

Neil did not just merely show us the art, but he detailed the origins of each piece. He is not only a local & an artist, but you can see his passion for both the process and final product.

Before parting ways, he gifted us with an unexpected but much appreciated gift of his own locally-inspired art. A much more personal souvenir than anything we could have found in a store.

We hope to do more experiences with Neil on return trips to Portsmouth.

Over coffee we mapped out options relevant to us so that we didn't spend our precious 24 hours of down time trying to figure this out on our own.
